Weather in Oulu

Some of you have asked about the weather in Oulu in August.

While August is normally thought of as the warmest summer month in Finland, the last few years have shown that it might, in fact, also be rather cold and rainy. Also, no matter where in Finland you'll be spending your exchange period, it is not a bad idea to pack warm clothing for the winter. If you don't have a winter coat, or if you can't get it to fit in your luggage, you can buy one from here. :)
